Hacking Problem with a theme I made for R4

I made a theme for my R4 and to put on NDSthemes.com, but when i tried out the theme it just didn't appear altogether.(Edit: When I pressed select the popup came up saying that it was on the correct theme, but it was showing the theme before that. And when I tried turning the DS off and turning it back on, the theme after it was shown.) Will I need some sort of theme.ini files to make this theme work? I'm new to making themes and I have no clue how they work other than they need certain filenames......

EDIT: I'm gonna go check if it's the fact that I have a GBA screen thing in there.
EDIT 2: It was not the fact that I had a GBA screen thing in there.
EDIT 3: One theme from NDSthemes.com has done this exact problem to me once before.

you need a ini file since it has the color hex thing for your texts.

or you can just make your own themes. its easier.
