I've dumped the rom into a .cxi using braindump 1.0 and when I do ctrtool --exefsdir=exefs --decompresscode 0004000000055e00.cxi I get this error:
c20767e0028ac0bb731807f0b6a3abc6.png

Am I typing something wrong or what? ;p

Why not just use braindump to dump the exefs instead of doing it yourself?

I don't know how to use the old version. I highly recommend that you upgrade your braindump though. You wouldn't have needed this thread, you would've saved time, and you wouldn't have to bother with ctrtool.

No, I used the newer one and got that issue. I'm dumping using the older version that just gives you the romfs.bin directly right now.

Then why'd the new version of braindump give a cxi? Isn't it fully automated? Sorry bro, I'm lost and have no knowledge to help you out.

Nope, the new version gives you a .cxi file and you have to use ctrtool to get the romfs and exefs out of it for some reason..

You don't really need the --decompresscode option when you're not dealing with exefs files directly.

But the hashes are zeroes? I've never used braindump so I don't really know if that's normal.
