Hey all,

So after a move I had not used either of my switches in a while, so both were incredibly dead.

Both are unpatched units and had run CFW.

Upon trying to boot into CFW again, my pc would not recognise switch 1, either as APX or as a switch.

This resolved itself automatically after trying many times.

Now switch 2 keeps not being detected as either a switch or as an APX device.

So even though it is in RCM, my computer doesn't recognise it as such. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers a bunch of times.

I have tried 3 different computers, multiple different USB-A to USB-C cables and a USB-C to USB-C cable.

Any idea's what to try next?

It seems the trigger was being off for so long.. Both switches have been charged to full and the second one still doesn't work..

Go into device manager and check if the APX driver is installed correctly on your pc . Its usually due to Windows incorrectly installing the driver . People reccomend an app called Zadig, but i just uninstalled the driver in device manager and then manually told it to install the right one, but like i said there is an app that automates that . If your sure it is installed correctly, try a different payload injector . For example if your using Tegrarcmgui, try TegraRCMsmash . You tried on 3 different PC's, but im kinda willing to bet you tried the exact same payload injector on all 3 since you didn't mention which one you were using .
