Homebrew Problem - Games won't boot after being recognized by console

you were wrong that it kills reading original gamecube games if you use dios mios (lite) you can't play backub discs though, that would require cmios, nintendon't sometimes failed me, it sometimes can't get through the init procedure... but most wii's it works perfectly.
Huh, I was sure that was an issue with it. I wonder where I picked that up from. Oh well, I guess I was wrong. Thanks for correcting me.

first version didn't work, on the website of dios mios this is still on the issue list, but it's been solved. no wonder you picked it up, just won't let you use multidisc and backups. nintendont works fine when it's working, just sometimes i can't get it to work! it keeps telling me the hdd partition has wrong block size, while i use the fucking same hdd on another wii working fine. settings are the same, dios mios seems to have this very same thing though, so can't fix it yet. but then again no wii came in since about a year or so...

Make sure it's up to date. Also, I do believe it has some issues if you create a memory card image with over 1019 blocks. Though I haven't seen that issue, people that frequent the Nintendont thread would probably be more helpful. I've been using Nintendont and it's perfectly stable for me with far more robust features than DM. I don't have a reason to use DM anymore.

all sayd it's the partitions on it should be max. 2 tb fat32 first and active. i knew that already, and that's why it bugged me, just it's the same issue with all gc backubloaders. and it seems to be related to the wii, since i really use the excact same setting on about 49 wii's and they work fine with it, it's just that last wii i had in here freeked me out...

Odd, I'd just ask in the Nintendont thread. I'm just using a 250GB HDD (it holds all my Wii and GameCube games with space to spare, so I'm fine with it) formatted to FAT32 at 32KB clustering and I haven't had a single issue with it.

yes, well the client didn't think she ever would play gamecube anyway... i haven't had anu other wii(u) with the same issue (by the way, dios mios is obsolete, since it won't work on wiiu so since all working in dm work in nintendon't i don't use dm anymore...

Ah okay, I thought this was your Wii you were posting about. I'll softmod Wiis and vWiis for people, that's very simple, but I don't set them up with loaders. I'll give them links to threads about loaders I recommend, as if they want to do that they should really read through and learn the basics of them. I tried setting someone up with a couple of loaders before and just ended up with daily calls about new questions and issues that came up.

just had one problematic client ever, (not this client, this client's wii was partly bricked, and i fixed all of it then modded it) so 49 clients were happy and one client was pisse for his daughter (2 years old) didn't understand that dificulty in games could increase each level, and he thought i messed up the wii (there was a level were the light died each so many seconds and he claimed i damaged the wii, witch i could proof was wrong since the original game on a non modded wii had the same thing in the same level. ever since that guy i asked my clients a little more questions.. i don't wanna waste time on a no brainer. plus how in hell ever would i garantee each ever built game would work future proof trough a backup loader? ah well enough about it...

by the way please pm me if you wanna continiue, since this isn't anywhere near the original thread anymore
