As the title says, Priiloader v.02 r30 won't open HBC or Bootmii.

If I select HBC, it goes to a black screen with "exception (dsi) occured" at top and lots of code dump, and I have to hold the power button to turn it off.

If I select Bootmii, it says "error booting bootmii ios" and stays on the Priiloader screen.

I have HBC installed, version 1.0.8 ios58 v24.32, no problems using it. I just installed BootMii 1.5 from the HackMii Installer v1.2. BootMii works fine when launching from HBC, already did a NAND backup.

A few basic questions, thanks for bearing with me.

1. Any ideas why HBC/Bootmii won't launch, or how I can fix it?
2. Bootmii is installed as IOS. Exactly what protection do I have against bricking with my current setup (pretend you're talking to a 5 year old, I know next to nothing on Wii hacking)? I'll be installing Dios Mios 2.11 to play GC games soon, and I'm paranoid something will go wrong (Pimp My Wii bricked my launch Wii many, many years ago).
3. Is there anything else I should be doing to help prevent bricking?

Thanks everyone for the info.

Also if it helps, here is a SysCheck of my Wii.

Ya my Priiloader was so old it didn't even have the Titles menu option.

I fixed my problem by updating my Priiloader from v0.2 to 0.7. Followed this guide if anyone needs it.

Thanks for the help.
