Hello guys!

I need some help here: I've installed priiloader but when I reset my wii it goes to that white screen even if I don't hold reset. And I can't go to the system menu. When I try it goes back to the priiloader menu.

I can acces the HBC but I don't have bootmii installed yet. (and my HBC is upside down).

Can someone help me? :S wii lu66 v. 4.0U

thanks in advance
can u go to the hbc and uninstall it to fix your problem for now until some1 can help

1 question i have it to boot to cfg loader but if i wanted to boot to MplayerCE would i have to hold reset and and then boot to hbc
could there be an option to auto boot to priiloader or maybe another screen with a list of options to boot to rather than just 1

eg boots to "priiloaders boot to screen"(a new screen) listing system menu, hbc, any installed files, etc and the return to can be set to last booted or whatever u choose

also the ability to install more than 1 install or is this possible as when i installed a new file the old 1 disappeared
I think I misunderstand your question, because the way I read it, it is already available.
Remember that "boot to" setting I told you about earlier? If you set it to "file", you'll boot to whatever dol you have installed (usually forwarders). But it has other settings as well. From what I can recall, they are as follows:
-File: see above
-Homebrew channel: boots the HBC
-System: boots the default wii screen
-disabled: boots priiloader

yeah i understand that but if i didnt want it to boot to priiloader so any1 could change the settings etc but still boot to page that listed what u can boot from in priiloader and the option to have more than 1 forwarder etc installed

Since updating I get this error. “ERROR AUTOBOOTING SYSTEMMENU. COULD NOT GET BOOT STATS. IOS V70 SYSTEMMENU V481?.

Any ideas?
well, apparently it failed to get the status of the system menu main dol or the dol is 0 bytes. check the 100000xx.app in /title/00000001/00000002/content or data; can't remember (think it was content)

EDIT: btw, anyone who has a hardware mod and has the issue of system menu not reading discs/crashing PLEASE join us on irc (#priiloader @ chat.freenode.net ) around 4PM & 11PM GMT+1 if you can. i wanna get that issues figured out asap >_>

Hi Daco, i installed Priiloader and now my system says that as well.

Error autobooting system
could not get boot stats

When i installed it, it did say something about a file being 0 bytes, but said i should ignore it or something.

What can i do to fix it ??

I am on 4.2u

I recenty started a softmod installation following the ade's softmodding guide on my 4.2E system.
Here's a brief summary of what I've done so far. I sucessfully installed, The Homebrew Channel, DVDx & Bootmii to IOS (I was unable to install bootmii as boot2).

The guide recommended an installation of Priiloader if you were unble to install bootmii as boot2, which i've installed once..., this is where the fun starts… I could not access “system menu” so that I could boot to wii system menu, and there was the following error, “ERROR AUTOBOOTING SYSTEMMENU. COULD NOT GET BOOT STATS. IOS V70 SYSTEMMENU V482″.

I have since read the following - QUOTE "WARNING: The current stable release of Priiloader still has some issues. Most notably being unable to load the system menu. Reinstalling IOS70 followed by the system menu should resolve these issues. You can then try installing Priiloader again." UNQUOTE.

I have installed IOS70 followed by the system menu which resolves my Priiloader issue, and I'm now back at the wii's system menu. But when I try to reinstall Priiloader I get the following issue -

Logged in as "su"!
Got ROOT!
Checking for Priiloader...

Priiloader not found.
Installing Priiloader...

Skipping copy of system menu ticket...
Moving System Menu app...
Unable to move system menu, aborting mission...

I'm not sure what's the problem is? Do I need to Restore the Trucha Bug? Any adviice would be greaty appreciated.
Thanks.

@ASTRAL2k1

Try installing ios249 rev 17, then when installing priiloader hold down B.
If you followed the guide here on GBATemp, you probablly already have that installed.

This is the only way Priiloader would install for me, using ios249.

Hi, dan_s thanks for your reply. Is it fully functioning?

i have a question.

would anyone who had the endless spin in preloader have a go with the following dol (and some1 who didn't have the endless spin bug with preloader 0.29 , to confirm it works on both)

i removed my fix and changed a line of crediar (changed from IOS_IoctlAsync to IOS_Ioctl cause that is what is recommended and i think i know what happend with some ppl causing the disc to spin anyway)

also, if you want you can also test old preloader forwarders with this version. they should work again

but please keep in mind this isn't a release, nor beta, nor anything. this is just a test and can cause harm eventho its tested and should work fine

hey daco, i did NOT have the drive spin problem, but I will install this and let u know how it runs (I have bootmii@boot2), then I'll test the old N forwarder for cfg loader to see if that works (it was one of the dols that worked on preloader but not priiloader)

@ Daco,

A+ results! The old Nforwarder for cfg usb loader works great using this revision of Priiloader, I also tested out setting a password, works great!

if there is anything else u want me to try just say the word

I think I will leave this revision installed for now, @ least until a new official rev is released (unless u tell me a good reason to revert back to v0.3b).

thx for all your hard work!

@everyone else, Daco still needs some1 who was having the drive spin problem to test this, if this describes you, please take a minute to test it out
