had to revert back to 0.1 cause wouldn't boot the system menu on auto-boot and it wouldn't load the menu on IOS249 but would load under IOS250 so I don't know what the problem was cause 250 is a copy of 249 even uninstalled and then reinstalled priiloader and cIOS and still the same results go back to 0.1 and works like a charm and what is magicworld???

first off all, if something isn't working then tell me what it was doing
second off all 250 is NOT a complete copy of 249. my stub detection code has proven that to me.

also, if you would read the bloody changelog you would know what the magicword stuff is

EDIT: forgot to remove test code. updating 0.2 binaries...

it was booting with a different ios that was broken cause of a left behind line when i was testing stub detection. should be fixed now (aka redown and reinstall )

What's the safest way to update from preloader 0.30 rev4 by phpgeek ?

I'm on 4.2E.

Should I

- Reinstall Systemmenu-v482 with Wadmanager
- Install Priiloader 0.2

or

- Reinstall Systemmenu-v482 with Wadmanager
- Use NandClean to remove all Hacks
- Install Priiloader 0.2

or

- simply try to install Priiloader 0.2

just tried the new download and system menu will load off 249 but still the same problem as before set autoboot to system menu and reload to system menu and save settings but everytime I reset or power up the priiloader menu shows

kk

thx Old8oy. I'll try it out tomorrow.

power off completely and try again. works fine for me

tried it powered down and unplugged for 3mins and tried to reboot and bam straight into priiloader but the wiimote wouldn't sync so I had to boot HBC from bootmii and reinstall 0.1

follow this for a while (or create a issue on the google code page)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of priiloader are you using? On what ios/system menu?

Do you have any IOS patches installed? (if so which ios and what patch?)

actually, only the last 2 will do.
also, if you can get a USBGecko then please show me the output >_>

the steps to recreate the problem is just to reinstall 0.2, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling using IOS36 and IOS249 it makes no difference, you reboot after playing a game or even power down to red light and powering on and still the same goes straight to the priiloader menu.

Autoboot - system menu
return to - system menu
stop disc - on
blink on error - on

only got 36(all 3 patches in dop-ios) and 60(Trucha) patched for 4.0e had priiloader0.1 and upgraded to 0.2 doesn't matter what IOS you use to boot the system menu on 60 or 249/250 it does the same thing

I don't have access to a USBGecko so I couldn't show you the output

I'll try it on my other Wii later and let you know the outcome, if it's the same or if it works ok as they have the same system menu and hacks installed

Getting the same issue,

settings are set to

Autoboot - system menu
return to - system menu

and it still goes to priiloader on every boot.
although if it boots to priiloader, then gets shut down, it boots into the SM no problem.

/me sighs

can any of you build a priiloader rev and check where it started?
also, i'd say its bootstate but that doesn't make sense as it gets reset on shutdown (unless the app you were in shuts down on its own and doesn't shut down like any wii application (set bootstate to 5 and reboot or change the bootstate to 0 and shutdown on its own) *cough*hbc*cough*

anyway, ill write a different version of 0.2 tomorrow and let it printf some stuff that normally should get send to USBGecko...

So I should wait to install 0.2? 0.1 works fine for me so no rush. I don't need gecko support.
i recommend updating. if it goes wrong, go back..

also @ xzxero & longtom1 : you both have wiiconnect24 disabled dont you?

Hey guys, I present you the very first
