What are you trying to do Alex? The options boot1/boot0 make it look a bit EOF.

As much as this theoretically is a valid question for a poll, it is not gonna help preventing the following situation:

HELP!!!!! My Wii shows black screen after I installed some random rubbish in from the link below a YouTube video! How to unbrick???
Everybody who knows a bit about Wii modding should have the best brick protection available for their console (depending on possibilities).
Those people who'd have to tick:
[x] None of this
[x] Why should I ?
[x] What ? Never heard....
Will stumble across GBAtemp after bricking their console.

What's the choice for vwii?
Creating a NAND backup from Wii U mode and restore it in case of vWii brick.

Maybe we have some creative People here on GBAtemp.
That would change everything in the History of Brickprotection for the Wii.:rofl2:
If they are creative enough to find a SHA-1 collision, I'll be happy. The amount of creativity needed for reprogramming the true ROM inside the CPU belongs into EOF.

Seriously, I don't think this poll will measure if there are people not using Priiloader/BootMii. For anybody knowing about brick protection and not using the possibilities:

I know a certain dev was working on something, but he's gone into hibernation the last year, and I'm not sure if we'll ever see a release. Something to do with leveraging sd_boot and trying to be able to recreate parts of it from files available on NUS (ios9 in particular was being investigated) so that users don't need to source and provide sd_boot in order for it to run, then some adjustments like usb support for nand dumps, and the ability to install bootmii boot2 on capable wii's, and for other wii's the ability to install it as "boot3" (invented term), basically a pseudo secondary boot2. Bootmii installed to "boot3" would be almost as good as boot2. I would have to go back to my convos in order to verify, as it was explained in very technical terms even for me, and what I've said above is what I remember/understood.

Hopefully I've not said too much, I hope if the unnamed dev is reading this you don't mind, I think I was vague enough and didn't mention your name. And I hope you return to the scene to maybe work on this again or at least say hello!
