Hacking PRELOADER V.27

I open the hacks.ini with VIM and I would like to know how do I turn features off and on.

Here is an example of the health warning that gets replaced with the black screen.

Does this mean it's on by default, with out deleting the line how would I turn this off or any of the other features?

I also seem to be having a problem with version 0.27 of the Preloader. It will not shut down my Wii into standby mode, only the fully-off-red-light mode. Did anyone find a solution to this?

Standby mode will only work if you set preloader setting as follows
Shutdown to preloader
then you can only go into standy from a game/channel NOT the menu or it just reboots

Ok, I can't install this... this will be my first Preloader install...

I run the DOL... then it displays the usual info... bla bla, don't use this if you can't take your Wii being bricked, bla bla...

then it just sits there...

nothing else...

No press A to continue... no Press B+hold youself+fondle your cousin... nothing...

What do I do??

I did what you said, but it only rebooted as before. However, I noticed something odd. When I selected "shut down to preloader" and "return to preloader" and tried to boot the system menu through the preloader's menu, it shut down my Wii to standby mode instead. Could this provide any clues as to how to make the Wii shut down to standby mode by default?

I've heard the Force Disk Region hack doesn't work[I can't test it, as I have no PAL games], so try it if you want, or don't.

I was wondering if I can enable any of these hacks to have my Wii stop giving me the occasional disc error if I have a game backup in my drive. It happens about 20% of the time telling me to restart my system cuz of a disc read error. I have a Wiikey on 3.2U BTW.

They are disabled by default. You have to load preloader to enable them. The hacks.ini is "simply" a list.
So if you just installed preloader, they are not active.

Uninstall current hack list with Preloader Hack uninstaller.
Then open your old hack list on the SD root copy and paste these hacks over them, save.
Run preloader it will install the new hacks.

slaphappygamer Mines is just like the one you have 96 lines of hacks, words the same, just in a different order.

since 0.26 preloader works on any version. It says that in the changelog.
