really? does preloader 0.26 work on 3.4? im sure it doesnt. i think i just answered my own question.

people should stop seeing 3.4/"3.3b" as the reason for fakesign stuff to stop working.
Its IOS! You could install 3.4 and keep the faksign bug.
You could even have 3.2 with IOSs where the fakesign bug is fixed.

besides from IOS, preloader works with any version.
It might not install when you have fake signed IOSs but that doesn't mean it doesn't work with 3.4.

I believe the Entry points for the hacks are in different address than 3.2-3.3
that's the reason you cant't reboot-or use no copy protection on geckoos or teamtwizers menuloader/menu rebooter

I've got a bit of a problem...

I installed the Softmii 0.95 package, but I swapped out the 0.25 version of preloader that came with it for 0.27 before I installed it. Everything was fine, but I accidently ran the Hack Remover and removed the 2 files (hack.ini files I think). Now when I try to reinstall 0.27 it finds the previous install, even though it was removed. It skips the install and reboots the wii. If I try the Hack Remover it doesnt find any files. Its as if there is an extra file/renamed file in 0.27 that if you try to install again it finds it and therefore skips the install, wheras the Hack Remover doesnt know to delete it as its a new version of Preloader.

Anyone got any ideas how I can install it again?

Tried that mate, it just boots normally. I dont think Preloader is actually there anymore. Just remnants of it.

Dont worry guys, I just redid the whole Softmii thing and its let me install it again. Thanks anyway.

Anybody have my problem? I installed preloader .27 and softmii 9.5 but PAL games still won't show up in my disc channel. I have the region free hacks enabled and everything, but only games from my region (NTSC) will show up.

Uh, I got to the part where you use cIOSCorp installer but, it doesn't freeze and comes up with an error.

Because it didn't work with version 0.26
