Hacking PRELOADER V.27

i just tried preloader .27 with chipped wii (d2pro). so far region free is not perfect. pal wii will load fine if "force disc region" is enable, i tried bust-a-move and wii play with 3.2u. however several ntsc game will have a problem if this hack is enable (blank screen n sometimes it force 480i instead of 480p).

if i disable the hack, i can't boot pal game even if the "region free wii" is enable...

is there any tips that i can follow?. can cioscorp fix this problem?.

Yes, it seems that you are trying to play backups, because nobody would buy a game from a different region. Try installing cIOScorp.

Okay i am IN NEED OF HELP!!!
I installed the cIOScorp and my wii games wont run.
After i decided to format the wii, so now
when i turned the wii on, it shows the preloader O_O.
Is there anything i can do?

First off, why did you format?

You should ask first before doing anything.

Anyway, you should install a system menu wad of your region to uninstall the thing

Is there any way for you to bypass the preloader menu that pops up when you boot the wii? EX. If you hold the A button, the menu will pop up.

You're wrong. I bought DanceDance Revolution II in USA, cause in Europe it's still not available.

took the plunge and installed softmii using preloader 0.27 instaed of 0.26 that was in the package.....

now the reason for installing it was to have region free games working from the disc channel

but so far all the hacks.ini i have tried cause no backup games to work from disc channel not even my own (pal) region ones

if i remove the hacks all my own region games work, which is identical to what i had just with ciospack


has anyone got a working region free hacks.ini for a pal system using preloader 0.27?

may sound a silly question but did any of your power buttons stop working?

i can only seem to power off by holding the power for 5secs now
not just the 1 touch im used too

Since updating to 0.27 I have noticed that when I select "return to menu" (From the home menu) when in the middle of a game the Wii just locks up and I have to hold down the power button to return to the main screen.

both pl settings boot and return are set to system menu.

Has anyone got a solution to this problem?

you need to disable "force disc region" hack..

still no difference to what i had with just cioscorp.......

with just cioscorp quite a few but certainly not all ntsc games were working from the disc channel, but i cant get any extra to work with preloader

im now beginning to think that full non-region compatability is not yet working at present, any pal users confirming that it does work fully.....

i'll make a list of the games that i am trying that are ntsc that are not working......then if any other pal users have sucess maybe they could share how to get em working
