Hacking PRELOADER V.27

My NTSC Brawl still just has Black Screen (with sound) on my PAL Wii. I have PreLoader 0.27 with the force region hacks enabled

What is the best recommended manner to upgrade from v.25 to v.27 ?

download and install 0.26, then run the online upgrader as we dont know the 0.27 password

Thanks. I guess I'm having trouble with overall steps for the upgrade.
Do you have to uninstall v.25 first ?

I can't seem to install v.26 or v.27 ... I get the message "main.dol installed!" and that's it, but Preloader remains at v.25.

EDIT: heh, nevermind, silly mistake...I forgot to rename boot.dol

NOOB QUESTION ALERT! Can someone give exact details on what each hack does that some people have put up on here? I have a 3.2U system with a Wiikey installed and have only enabled the move disc channel & both skip disc updates checks. Even though the verbiage seems pretty self explanatory to some, Id like to get more exact details on each hack.

Also, since I successfully installed Preloader through the HBC, theres no need for me to keep it in my apps folder anymore since I can only activate settings by holding reset when I power up the Wii right?

Same here with One Piece: Unlimited Adventure.

Is "region area check" the hack to force the language? One Piece need the language forced to english.

i was able to run dol from PL0.26, but in this new version i can t...

I also seem to be having a problem with version 0.27 of the Preloader. It will not shut down my Wii into standby mode, only the fully-off-red-light mode. Did anyone find a solution to this?

Same standby issue for me as well. I did SoftMii .95 which included installing version 0.26, then did the update to 0.27 via the Preloader menu. Wondering if installing 0.27 manually would help at all?...

Same result with a manual install i'm afraid, guess we'll wait for 0.28

then it just sits there...

nothing else...

No press A to continue... no Press B+hold youself+fondle your cousin... nothing...
