so far i can only say till my question is answered i'll be updating tonight for my 3.2 wii.
Wait for cIOScorp? It's been working for several days as it is.[*]Install cIOScorp (the old stuff)[*]Install cIOS60bf[*]Patch your system menu to block updates.drmarvin said:Is there a hack for the .ini that allows for Disc Channel backup loading yet? You want autoboot ON.chaseincats said:seriously how do you stop preloader from automatically poping up during every boot?
I turned autoboot off and it still doesnt work
if i do what you said i could use that systemenu patcher with preloader ? really dont want to brick another wii just sent 1 in today & it sucks cause they most likely send it back without hbc & systemenu 4.0joda said:Wait for cIOScorp? USB Loader?![]()
Can anyone explain to me what the patched IOS60 does? I'd love to upgrade but I want to make sure I still have functionality.
Possibly to prevent that system files corrupted error... Ninty newly (maybe in 3.4 too) seem to be checking the integrity of either system menu title's contents or something else... just a guess...

I updated to 4.0 using Waninkoko's installer, and did everything from a guide I found.
Yet this still spins the disc while turning my Wii off into Standby.
The weird thing is, when I have a real Wii game in, (ex: Animal Crossing), the drive still spins.
But when I have a backup in there, (ex: James Bond), it turns off normally.
