Off the top of my head i remember for the ps vita version of retroarch back in mid 2018 got gpu overclocking which helps with the emulation overall. sega 32x and ps1 emulators felt like they got the most improvement to me. Also something that you can use to overclock your ps vita system called LolIcon. You can use LolIcon to overclock retroarch even more for better results. Also ReF00d so you can play games that require a firmware higher than your own vita without compatibility packs. Other than that though nothing like the glory days of the psp if i remember right.
Yep! though i'd hadn't tried the overclock vita feature before honestly.

Quarktheawesome literally had a port on the RetroArch thread
Um... anything else? I already knew about RetroArch on the Wii U and stuff but other homebrew or native emulators stuff outside of that one, like for example there's no native PlayStation 1 emulator and yes i know about the original Wii's PS1 emulator being a thing available for Wii U forwarding but it's honestly not the same! shit, where's a freaking Postal 1 port that both Switch AND Vita gotten, where's Quake III Arena port, where's Sonic Robo Blast 2 (lastest version but for Wii U and NOT the OG Wii version), where's Hexen II, where's a port of The Legend of Sword & Fairy DOS/Windows game at?! and ESPECIALLY where's a port of Half Life 1/Counter Strike at?!!

I just was surprised to see how quickly the PSC getting a ppsspp port. .. Sometimes developers contradict themselves : when people don't ask them they say "there isn't much interest", and when there is big demand they say "they are bothered by requests"... :(

Edit : With all respect and admiration for aliaspider work thanks god that guy exists :)

Its a shame this project was abandonded, would love to see more done with it yet playstation classic gets a ppsspp port instead.

Is it normal for support on homebrew and emulators for wiiu to just drop without any word from anyone or at the very least a source code released so someone else can take up a project?

(I dont know if there is a source code released for the wiiu version of ppsspp).
The WiiU is an older, mostly dead platform, with a replacement on the market in the Switch. The Playstation Classic, even flopping like it did, is new and people want to see what they can make run on it.

And man, some of you guys are unreal. Literally in here throwing tantrums because a dev isn't doing the free work you want them to. If you're bothered by the lack of PPSSPP on WiiU there are options. Wait, make it yourself, buy a platform that has PPSSPP actively developed for it, or (and this one might sound crazy) buy a PSP.

You know I bet most of us could turn out to be quite the Coders if we tryed and pulled togather for one goal at a time here let me start.

;PPSSPP Alpha 0.1

;This is where we load the main executable the Emulator

;This is where we load the UI

;This is before we load our ROM

Changelog 21/01/19
Added Comments , Place holders for actual code
Todo Everything :yayu:

Credits and big thanks to Core for getting us started.

For what, exactly? I'm not the one crying over the lack of progress.
My issue is that they wrapped up to early while the Vita (another that was dead as well) is still getting more support! Yes i'm 100% fully aware it's portable and all that stupid crap but the fact that homebrew devs loves to spin things about and make double standards then what's that telling us?

I'd never knew the PlayStation Classic was portable, I'd never knew the original Wii was portable, never knew the original Xbox was portable, Never knew the PlayStation 3 was portable, Never knew a PlayStation TV was portable (yeah it's still Vita but mainly made for TV/Monitor use only) but you see my point?

I understand is that the Switch is very popular right now but wait... now what if the Switch never became popular like the "Wii U" would your buddies then still create Homebrew ports, emulators, etc... so super fast like the Road Runner?! Maybe but at this quicksilver speed? HELL NO!

First of all, I don't know any of these devs. What "buddies" do you ignorantly think I have?

Second, like I said, WiiU isn't just dead but there is a new platform available. Vita is dead, sure. Where is the new Sony platform? Exactly. Those other platforms you listed not being portable doesn't mean anything. You need to accept that portability doesn't matter to everyone, which explains why the platforms you listed got development. The Playstation Classic is only a month old, of course people are seeing what they can get running on it. WiiU isn't even portable. So really, what are you trying to prove by bringing that up?

All I was saying is that not everyone prioritizes the platform you personally want to play on. There are multiple reasons why other platforms are getting more homebrew support. Unless you're paying these guys your choices are basically deal or buy an actively supported platform.
