Oh, true. To be honest didn't know csos were a thing :$
Yeah, all my games are in cso format, I'll be running some tests later, there is a program called UMD Gen that shrinks your iso's, along with many other features.

Maybe a good thing to do is to see if a iso and cso of the same game works the same.

Issues observed: Menus and cutscenes work, crashes on gameplay, UNPLAYABLE

I try to stay away from CSOs - I know they save a little room but I can remember certain games on the native system had a performance impact (the first Star Ocean comes to mind) - not sure how that would carry over to emulation.

Anyways, I'm glad that I'm not the only one where many games crash, I was worried my SD card was on its way out despite being fine for Retroarch, lol.

Issues observed: Black screen after Square Enix logo. Home button still works and can exit out of the game.

The new Version fixed the graphical issues in Crisis Core apart from Save Points being invisible now :D

Issues observed: None started
