Why wouldn't it? It's not that demanding of an emulator, I mean it runs well on Smartphones on all things. In fact, the emulator runs really well as is right now. Just a little buggy, make some optimizations and this will run extremely well.I really hope the switch gets some love soon but i'm a little supprised ppsspp can run on the wii u

The Wii U's CPU is at least 10x more powerful than model 2000/3000 PSPs.Smartphones use ARM, Wii U uses PPC, PSP uses MIPS, it all depends on the architecture and how the emulator is ported and optimized. PPSSPP isn't nearly as demanding as DeSmuME or DraStic, that's for sure.
eboots never worked in ppsspp, they are not supportedLooks like games can load from USB but crash as soon as you enter a Loading screen.
Also the emulator will freeze most times if you have 3 or more games in the same folder.
Given these bugs it's pretty certain that this alpha build suffers from memory allocation issues but hell its pretty great for a first port!
I ran some games last night and these were the best working ones...
All these games I tested in Compressed ISO format (.cso) and they loaded up fine.
it seems EBOOTS are not supported but someone should try converting them to ISO to see if they work!

I have the PPSSPP.rpx file in the wiiu/apps folder and the PPSSPP folder in the root of the sd. But I do not see PPSSPP.rpx in homebrew launcher.
I'm about to test some games, will post here
Now the question is...do I play P3P on Wii U now or wait for the Switch PPSSPP to be released...
Hm...
I can see the future of the PPSSPP on the Switch <3
