Hacking PPSSPP control issues

The controls are giving me issues. For some reason every time I hit B it brings up the emulator menu. I've tried remapping the controls, resetting to default, even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. The problem won't go away. How do I fix this?

its not gold but its the same build but with a fixed b button

Isn't the file WinPSPe_1.4.0.0_x64 a newer version that the one in mediafire link which is 1.0.0.0?

winpspe is xb1emu.com's emulator they chose that number because they did something with it but nothing is added to the emulation experience

I see, that is the one I've been using so I will try the one in your link above then to see if there is any performance difference.
