The major PlayStation Portable emulator, PPSSPP has been updated to a new version: 1.6. This update brings better performance for both the Vulkan and OpenGL backends, allowing for better compatibility and speed in multi core devices. Bugfixes for iOS and Android versions have implemented as well. Retroarch support has been added, along with Vulkan support for the Linux version. All platform versions have received the update, but the Android one is still being tested for bugs and will be updated throughout the week.

Parappa works under v1.5.4, so I doubt this update would break any compatibility it had with the game.

No jailbreak needed. I have version 1.5.4 without jailbreak and the only problem it has is that it can’t run all games at full speed (like god of war). Hopefully the new version is faster for me.( I’m on iPhone se btw)

I can at least get through "World is Mine" in project diva but other songs seem to still pose a performance issue. does anyone here know of a way to either drop the settings low enough to run this smoothly or at least disable pv's? Kinda funny that it still can't run flawlessly on my tablet
