I just hope that games such as the Project DIVA line don't just outright crash anymore when trying to play them... My PSP is dead, so I can't play them:sad:

Uh, I've been playing those on PPSSPP for a long time and they work just fine for me
What's your setup? For me they work fine until I try to play a song, then the moment I press anything other than pause, PPSSPP just crashes at best or bluescreens me out of nowhere at worst...:/ Usually it's just the crash though. Using a CSO version and I know it's not corrupted or anything as it's working just fine on the actual system. I'm not on latest version though and haven't updated in a bit, so that may be it, but I'm on 1.3 version and get the issue on any game that was made with the same engine as Project DIVA.

I think you just answered your own question. Version 1.3 is over 1.5 years old. There have been numerous updates to the emulator since that time, with a number of the updates fixing bugs and crashes in certain game. I would update and try the game in the newest version before digging into any setting tweaks.

May I ask why you're on 1.3 when 1.6 just came out? 1.5.4 has been out for ages prior, just curious.

Nice to see PPSSPP get an update. I use it on my lower-end phone quite a bit, so to have performance updates is quite nice; maybe I won't have to use frameskip as often for games.

I didn't bother updating for the simple reason it's too big of a pain reconfiguring everything because moving the settings configuration from the old installation to the new never worked properly for me in the past. Also, I have more important things to do than to keep checking for new versions and whatnot. Last time I checked a newer version was the 1.5.1 and it actually had more bugs/crashes for me than 1.3 so I went back and never bothered again.

Is there a suggested setup though? Because I like cranking up the internal resolution to like x8, the anti-aliasing to max, no frameskip, etc., so basically max quality and ONLY Project DIVA 1/2/Extend have an issue. Guess I'll try this one...
