So for some shows/movies, pPlay downloads the wrong information.
For example, I use the scrapper on the anime OVA 'Golden Boy', but it downloads information for the 1930's film 'Golden Boy'.

Is there any way to manually set the information for a show/movie? Or how would I go about getting the correct information?

Thanks :)

Yeah, for now the (tmdb) scraper only handle movies and, unfortunately, there's no way to easily change the scraped info / association. This is on the Todo list but I have a lot of other projects to take care of before :/

That's no worries :)
Thanks for letting me know. I'm happy it's on the to-do-list at all.

This may be an irrelevant question but have anyone try to delete a video file in a microSD card after watching? I tried deleting a 3.8 Gig mkv video file using NX-Shell 2.1.1, Tinfoil 6.10 & ftpd snap 2.3.0 but alas all failed. No problem at all when i eject the sd card from console & delete it using PC via a card reader. Even tried to rename the extension to nsp/xci & see whether can trick Tinfoil into deleting it. Unsuccessful.

Maybe you didn't quit pPlay completely ? (By just pressing the home button).

Firstly, I thank you for replying here & on the other thread as well. I already deleted it via pc before you replied. Anyway i have a bigger mkv file in my SD card. Will post the outcome here later after watching the movie.

Thank you for this, you save my weekend with my gf lol

As a enhancement, could you add an exit button? Most apps exit to hbl with plus (+)

For some reason the last version of pplay can't play videos normally with captions on. It stutters from time to time or freezes on one of the frames while still playing it. But without them it's completely fine. Is it just me?

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
