Im on 8.1.
9.0 is ready to be installed on my system (as in it's been downloaded but not installed)
pPlayer will no longer boot unless I update the syste,
Any work around or do I have to wait for AMS to be compatible?
You should not update to 9.0 since this update changed the inputs so this app will need an update to recognize button inputs.

Im so bloody sorry. pPlay works just fine. LennyTube doesnt. Need to find that app section.

OFC im not gonna update till the gods say to do so :)

Can somebody please tell me if it is possible to set this to load a gdrive directory (i.e. my drive with login or a shareable link for a folder)? And if so how? Thanks :) Great software btw!

Waiting for 9.0 compilation before i update. Can't play Witcher 3 atm & Not gonna Get a custom XCI/NSP Witcher 3.

Until OP has time to finish his proper update, @connivence has fixed the latest version of pplay for the 9.x+ button inputs. He patched the binary so there's no changed source. He's the dev who was doing TinfoilMod etc, so he's trusted, but use your own judgement ofc.

So, anyone with 9.0.(01) tested this ver yet?

Any plan for external USB support? Or it's already supported but I don't know how to access it?

pPlay can stream media from an http server with directory listing enabled, or an ftp server. To do so, you must edit the configuration file (pplay.cfg) to add your server address:

Been using this, its awesome. You just need to make sure your media server has an ftp server running.

Hi guys!

First, sorry for lack of news since a while. I'm busy with other stuffs, and so my switch is taking dust for now...

That said, i did find the time to build a new version. I was working on this one since a while, the major changes are on the UI side, with a tmdb scraper (press X to scrap current directory, or Y i don't remember...), and a lot of other un-tracked changes... This is a BETA release, and the binary was not tested on the switch itself yet! So please, let me know if it works on the switch :)

It does not render well on Nintendo Switch, the rendering is larger than the switch screen, therefore only a small piece of the screen is seen.

OK, crap. I guess something changed in the way libnx handle that now (or I made an error somewhere). I will try to take a look tonight.

Is it safe to update to 9.0?
