Power supply via laboratory power supply for Nintendo Switch

Hello,

I need support.

I have a lab power supply (Peaktech 6070) and want to connect it to a Nintendo Switch console.

What do I need for this?

I guess a component like for IPhones so similar to Quanli iPower.

It doesn't have to be the cheapest.

Try to get a switch donor battery, remove its charging circuit and connector, solder two wires to charging circuit then feed it with your bench power supply.

Whatever you do, don't connect it to the USB circuitry. Because the USB circuitry expects 5V at first and needs USB-PD communication to switch to 15V, or it will fry the USB chip.
 
For anyone needing help with this... If you clipped the battery off the board and connected the two wires to where the batteries used to connect to its not working for you then you are more than likely not getting a ground signal at the pins that connect to the switch board. To test use a meter to test the two black wires for ground and the two red wires for voltage. What I saw is that the two positive (RED) pins had 4.2v (bench ps was set to 4.2), but the negative had nothing. if This is the case then solder a wire the the P- right under the two black wires (the wires that connect to the actual switch MB) on the battery board and use that as the negative on your bench ps. Hope this helps someone else out as I originally tried two boards and couldn't get it to work.
