Hacking Potential reason for random errors on N3DS after downgrading?

I'm getting this even though I downgraded those two titles from a 9.2 O3DS pack.

Actually, I have a European N3DS.
Also, I don't have RxTools. However, I have Pasta, but I heard it uses firmlaunch.

2- Use HBL 2.5 and launch it
3- Use DevMenu and overwrite those two files

Before I had anything installed on sysnand:
1- I installed BBM with FBI on sysnand (Boot miniPasta from 2.5 HBL, then boot FBI from HBL, install BBM cia to sysnand)
2- Once BBM is installed on sysnand, you can install anything else on sysnand, as long as you boot miniPasta first.
3- So, boot into Pastamode (ie, miniPasta), then install DevMenu cia with BBM on the sysnand.
4- Now, once you have DevMenu, you can install any system cia on the nand, even overwrite them.

It's that easy

Now, as for the version of those two titles, it's up to you to make sure you have the correct ones.

Edit: Make sure you install DevMenu_v0.15.8(r37904). It's older than BBM.

(It should display '0.15.8(r37904)' on top when started)

Now, disregard the fact that he's using a GW and devmenu.3ds.
Use whatever you have, but devmenu.cia with FBI (after booting in pastamode, remember) also works

Not to complain, but could you switch out the dark blue with light blue (00FFFF) or green (00FF00)? It would make it more readable.

I'm yellow/green colorblind lol. (that is the brighter blue btw)

I guess I could make it blue/red or something else who knows. I'm limited to the stupid ansi-escape color palette. (8 colors)

- organized formatted 3ds output with title descriptons from yls8.mtheall.com
- change.log output also revamped for tidyness (much neater than 3ds due to no space constraints)
- decimal version #'s instead of hex as this is what 3dbrew.org uses
- readable title list log 'installed_titles.log' for a detailed inventory of your 3ds NAND
- rename any title list binary to default.bin and it will be selected regardless of system firmware
for devs:
- _titleListExtract.py to extract a title list binary from an update pack
- index.html to get title struct info for description.h from yls8.mtheall.com. see file for details

Can anyone with hard-mod spend sometime testing update feature of the unofficial sysupdater? I used the sysUpdater-0.4.2b-libkhax-SAFEMODE-priority build from the pastebin and on that site.

Noticed the trend of error downgrade mostly associated with downgrade from firmware different than 10.3 (@Aroth suspected it's due to 10.2 firm launch which means 10.2 should be good too). Therefore, I think it would be better to update to 10.3 first then downgrade. If updating to 10.3 is safe then it should be recommended so that other people can follow before downgrading since as the moment there is only 1 chance to successfully downgrade in most case.

Asked the above in sysupdater and downgrade threads, but my post got buried. I don't have hard mod to test this myself.


Update: Is it possible for someone with programming skill can add a batch to use devmneu in miniPasta to delete the leftover titles? It's just too dangerous especially for newcomers to delete things from NANDs.

Update 2: there are 2 cases that gambled with the advice to update to 10.3 before downgraded and both succeeded downgrading from 10.3 without errors. Both are N3DS. Using @julian20 sysupdater

Yes you can delete them, they were installed by 9.3 and would not be present on an O3DS 9.2 system.
