Hacking Potential reason for random errors on N3DS after downgrading?

Might have to. Only other thing I can suggest is tracking down that experimental build if FBI with MCH2 support and see if you can use it to uninstall the titles I listed. Always the change it will fuck something up though.

Those two files are missing from the N3DS pack when they should be there. The O3DS pack just so happens to have both of the files you are looking for.

Someone needs to update the N3DS packs to include those two files, so people don't have to do this manually...

I think those files are region free, but I need someone to confirm that. Otherwise, download it for your region.

Any will work, just be sure to install to NAND if you're using FBI. I like dev menu personally, because it automatically uninstalls the older version (I think newer fbi does this too) and doesn't deal with the SD/NAND destination changing

Unsure, but you shouldn't be downgrading with the whole pack anyway: download the proper pack for downgrading, grab those two files, and chuck them in the updates folder you're using so you can do a full downgrade.

Actually about 1/2 of the titles appear to be region free.

The only ones that are specific to a region appear to be actual applications and things relating to amiibo and user agreements.

what @CrispyYoshi says is right though, the only titles you should grab from the O3DS package are the two in question.

Does your system settings now say 9.2 properly? That's what happened to mine after doing it.

It was 9.2 for me before downgrading these two titles and it is still now.

I am pretty sure it said 9.1, but I will look at my previous uploaded picture in another thread to make sure.

In your USA N3DS 9.0 Factory Title List, you have:
00040030 00009E02|0x7(?))|[CTR-N-HA3E]| amiibo settings (probably a STUB title, doesn't show up in FBI)

On my downgraded 9.2.0-20U N3DS, I just noticed with FBI v1.4.17 that I have it too, but with version 0x407 and size 4,620,288 bytes.
I also now see that this title isn't included in the pack. This means that I must have the latest version (I was on 10.3.0-28U before downgrading)
Should I be worried?
