I suffer from a mild case of OCD. I was wondering if it is possible for postloader to read sub-folders. For example, I would love to have my covers in the emu_covers folder but in seperate folders within there for each system. That way its easier for me too figure out which games are missing covers.

Well, on to another issue. It would appear that after a relatively short period of time on the Emu Screen, the cursor just stops moving. The music keeps playing though (although I forget if it'll move on to the next track). I presume that problem will be more difficult to track down, but I'll look into it too.

Is the first time you see that ?

This is something I am fighting from some time. The worst is it seems that some build has it other not. Music will stop after current track, but every thread is working (covers/wiiload/mp3...)

using the beta version.

This is odd, I have no other reports of this and never seen it on my own... if there is a dsi, may I ask you a shot ? This could be very usefull ;)

Are you using b33 ?

Thank you very much. If you are using b33, apparently it is pointing to nothing... if you are using b32 it make more sense and stop at the same line as Etheboss... and in this case I have to ask you to try b33.

If still dump, I need a favor from you or etheboss. I will prepare a full debug version to try.

Yes this is 32b, will try 33

Also, I saw a bit of redundancies throughout the code (like ShowFilterMenu calling AppsSort() when EmuBrowse() calls AppsSort) and some other stuff. I'm also curious why you chose bsort instead of qsort in AppsSort?

Basically becouse i've got problems with qs where there isn't -1/0/1 return (like hiding items).

Yes code must be checked...

No, this has been going on for quite a while (since at least b30, but possibly earlier). It just hadn't reported it until now because I was waiting for Postloader 4 to stabilize a bit more. :) I can confirm it still happens in b33 (I had been using b31).

stfour, does the HBC stub option not work at this time? I can't seem to get devolution to reboot back into postloader directly. It always says HBC stub not found, attempting hot reset...
even when the HBC stub option is enabled in postloader.

Do I need to go in this order: HBC -> Postloader -> Devolution?

It still crashes, when loading a wii game. At least I can scroll throught them now.
Upon loading, PL tries to cach all my games ( 300+ ) then a dsi error.

I'll try to post a picture later.

Small holoDark update:

14. July 2012
  • replaced the icons for "Settings Editor GUI" and "WiiMod". Now they will fit better in the official build. (in my own build this buttons launch "WiiMC" & "Wiixplorer", that's why I used the other icons before)
  • some minor improvements (1px shadow around windows to make them stand out better; changed the gradient of the frame background) You probably won't see this ;-)
Edit:

-removed the *.psd from the package ;-)
-added a quick "holoLight" variant to my signature

Here's another recompiled version with devolution support for 4b33:

http://www.peejeshar...tloader.7z.html

Enjoy, if anyone uses it. Same limitations still apply. I'm done coding for today. :P

Edit: I noticed that some GC games will complain about the video mode not being proper over USBGecko and hang on a black screen. I'll look into it tomorrow.

Edit2: I said I'd look into it tomorrow, but it's bugging me. It was a one line of code fix.
Hmm...I can't get it to work. It says there is a problem with DML; check whether it is set up correctly. Keep in mind this may be normal, though: I'm trying to get it to run through uneek2o. While the devolution loader works fine under neek2o to use games on SD card, it cannot locate the USB drive (like pretty much all homebrew). And since this only supports loading games on USB for the moment, I didn't really expect the game to actually work.

I'm kinda curious as to how postloader can locate wii games, gamecube games and even emulator games on USB drive on neek2o. Will it mean loading gamecube games from USB when on neek2o will support it if the code is added to the launcher...or will tueidj have to change his main loader?

postloader 33 has fixed my isseu with the crashing wii games.
The PL4B33 from daxtsu?
Because with the B33 from stfour i still can't reload cache in wii games view and when starting a game i get a freeze.

EDIT: i stand corrected, after reloading cache, PL only exits to the emunand sysmenu..maybe that is normal.
And after reload cache (neek2o) starting wii games worked again..

thanx stfour.

Do you have devolution.bin in /games? It's the loader.bin from the devolution src package. I think I mentioned that in a prior post..if not I need to update it.. D:
I haven't tested devolution from neek though, so it might not be working anyway.

Edit: Yeah, it's not working in neek2o right now. I think I know why: I have it hardcoded to look from USB, and in neek, the USB drive becomes ISFS, if I remember right, meaning it becomes the real nand. So I'll have to check for neek eventually. Shouldn't be too hard to detect, I don't think. However, even if devolution can launch in postloader, I don't think it'll work from neek, since if devolution stays in Wii mode(not sure if it does), it'll not see a USB drive to load from..

@[member='stfour']: Sorry for taking so long to reply. No, I don't have a USB Gecko to debug the problem. I presumed I'd try backtracing the problem from the thread doing user input using the ploader.log. I haven't yet begun on that, though.
