so how do i configure this to see my emu nand? its on usb:\nands\folder_name or is the path hardcoded? it seems the config file cannot be edited manually?

im new to postloader, that pic really sells it but it seems like its going to be a half day project to configure as well as get all covers set up. i read the readmii, but didn't really answer the questions i have.

select channels then [home]->nand souce... then "update title cache".

pl4 beta 11 still crashes upon D-pad UP into the Wii games page, after all config settings are deleted from \ploader. If I HOME -> Scan Devices beforehand it will display names (but no covers) and any further input causes a crash and dump. Using the menu to go to DML works fine, but any attempt to access the Wii page crashes.

Tried beta 12, but it's still the wrong file.

I like what you're doing so far, and I've been using pl3 for quite a while. Rough edges aside, pl4 looks great.

So pl3 was working fine with the same wii setup ?

stfour, this looks great!
no crashes here. ww/vc works great, emus work great.
but, i can't get wii games to run. they look like they are loading, then return to postloader.
love the top and bottom bars!

Changed one other thing: upgraded to priibooter 2.6 - I had an older version. Doubt that's the problem; it reads apps from the HDD just fine, but seems to choke on games.

Tried the priibooter test versions on a whim. Same problem.

Great update, even fixed my controller sync issue with vc games!
Couple of things thou, how do i change those colors?? when ever i goto a menu eg: like onlne update, I see light grey text on a white back ground.
Can't read anything really.
Emulator channel the nes don't work. is that maybe a error on my part for the path on the usb drive? the sega and snes works great!
Any additional iso's i should have installed? I can't even remember what dx2 249 i have set up. Iso58+ is at the left had bottom under the V4b12.
Other than that awesome!!!! checking out multiple nands next..

I bet one of your wii cover pngs is corrupted, try to move the covers from ploader/covers folder to somewhereelse and try again. If all works fine find the culprit png and delete it

Possible. Hang on, let me try.

...

No joy, sorry. Good idea, though.

stfour, you have what you need - I hope.

Normally it can be a good idea, but I don think it can be the problem.... he was using pl3 fine with the same covers. He was so kindly to send me his cache... let me check. ;)

:D

Please give a try to b.13 >

The crazy thing is that this error is also in pl3.

Are you using a titles.txt ?

Trying it out. Yes, I'm using a titles.txt courtesy of WiiBackupManager.

Switched to Wii game page. No crash so far. Downloading covers.

No crash so far. Booting a Wii game.

Success. Bug squashed! Thanks muchly.

On a side note, does pl4 now expect to find its USB loaders on the SD card, or on the same media as its config files? I keep my loader files on HDD, not SD, and had to copy one over to SD to test. It's not a huge deal, but an option to look on USB first would be awesome.

Hei lost, you should have some problems with your installation. Maybe you have a /ploader folder in both sd/usb and one of them has a wrong theme ?

A small question: what location, name, extension and image dimensions do covers of the emulators need to be in order to show up?

(I was thinking SD:\ploader\covers, , png and "anything square"...but apparently not correct  )

Delete everything to do with postloader off my hard drive and just left i on the sd card. No change in anything. Could this be a result in when i installed postloader4 i just copied over top of postloader3 ? Maybe delete everything and redo insulation?

lost

I think you have something wrong with the theme.... try to rename your /ploader folder to something else, then upack (all files/folders) version b11, then update to b13
