Did you purchase these recently? I'm asking because a June 10th reviewer got one that was made in Japan, however I'm starting to believe he mistyped Taiwan for Japan in his review. Anyone else buy from buy.com of late?

You really shouldn't care too much about it.. to me the whole "Japan is way better than Taiwan" thing is bullshit. All of my cards work flawlessly, and all skip a little on the Castlevania intro but there is no noticeable slowdown in any games I've tried.

Edit: and yes I did purchase it rather recently, I don't have a date though sorry.
