Because I'm curious if you card was from one of the old batches, that broke down all the time, or from one of the new ones (which would be bad as it would mean, that the problem isn't fixed).

The problem is, you still might get a card from the bad batch.

I think it's safe to assume that current DX stock wouldn't have the old batch cards. My concern is that the problem isn't truly fixed. I believe I read something about Oz saying they've gotten some back from the new batch.

No can do, it's for a DS Phat.

You can get an Acekard 2 or an Edge each one fits your request preety well.

I want to know where i can get the CycloDS basically. A place that ships to Canada for free and the price is $50 or lower. If there isn't any other site selling it for any cheaper i already know what other flashcart to get. EDGE. But right now i would just like to know a good site that sells the CyloDS for $50 or less abd has free shipping to Canada !

Yeah. I think they use to ship free to Canada, but later on they limited it to just the US.

Don't think there's any other good stores with free shipping and a low price on the Cyclo.

If there was, you would've heard about it a million times by now.

yep. you people in America are lucky. But I will try and find out a way to find a CycloDS Evolution. I might just consider getting it at GamerSection but i doubt my dad is gonna let me get something that expensive so instead i'm just gonna ask for an EDGE or AceKard 2. Then pass down my SuperCard to my little sister.

And then i will have two flashcarts. M3 Real and either the EDGE or AceKard 2 if my dad lets me get it.

For all slot-1's (ignore if you want a slot-2):

I was thinking of getting a slot 1 card on it's own for now and getting the ezflash 3-in-1 or similar at a later date, but if I can get it as part of a bundle and save money I'll probably get it now.

Edit - I found the "M3DS Real Perfect Bundle" for £32.95 + £5.75 shipping, that any good?

However I would get an Acekard 2 (as you don't want Wii-connectivity, RTS or RTG [which the M3 also doesn't have btw.]) and an EZ 3 in 1:

Hi! I'm new here, and considering buying a DS sometime in the near future. I've googled a bit, and looked around on the forums, but if my questions are still aggravating, I'm sorry. I'll try to be.. as un-Noob as I can?

So uhmm... what I've managed to gather is that you need a NDS Flash Cartridge (such as Acekart or CycloDS) to play downloaded DS games, and a GBA Flash Cartridge (such as.. EZ Flash V 3-in-1) to play downloaded GBA games. And a micro-SD card for the NDS flash cart, so that you can store games. Am I right?


What kind of cartridges do you think would fit these requirements?

Price Range? I'm not too sure... how much would you guys pay for a nice, quality one that wouldn't brick your DS?
Slot 1/2? ....Both?
Built in or expandable memory? MicroSD (do they have to be a specific type of SD? )
GBA compatibility? yes pls!
Special features? SDHC compatibility (but not necessary, just preferable), automatic DLDI (not sure what I would need it for?)
