fast smooth game play, plays mp3, wifi multiplayer, Wii Connectivity, internal clock for events... also which flash cards shld i buy for rumble and ram expansion?

cyclods, ttds, G6DS, M3Real or R4?

I am going bonkers reading all the reviews.. haha.

Not many carts support the Wii connectivity, so if that's important it would limit your choices considerably. I think all of the rest you listed are pretty much standard for any cart (except maybe the R4 which is outdated). I don't know about the G6DS. I believe the M3 Real has been replaced by the M3 Sakura (which isn't out in English just yet).

All carts support rumble and ram expansion (for which you have to buy an additional slot2 cart or carts). The slot2 GBA expansion carts (like the eWin 2in1 and EZ 3in1) allow you to use the Opera browser and to play GBA games with almost any slot1 cart. The EZ 3in1 has a rumble as well (but it's not a very good rumble). There are separate slot2 rumble carts like the eWin rumble pak you can buy for about $4 also, but really rumble kind of sucks.

Take out G6, and R4. They're both not worth anything anymore. People who says otherwise are fanboys.

And all carts have a fast, smooth gameplay if you have a fast micro sd, and wifi is a given.

CycloDS is the best choice for smooth Gui, wii connectivity, etc. But it may be a little pricey.

But SCDS1 SDHC is still an excellent choice. It doesn't have a Wii connectivity, but does the rest. NO, do note read the old, outdated, useless review. JPH, and I both made a review for the new SCDS1 SDHC. His has pictures, but mine doesn't. Mine has more info about the features, he has lots of info on how to set everything up.

As for the Slot-2, get a EZflash 3-in-1. It has rumble (Pretty crappy, but it's there), GBA support, and a RAM.

Since you don't mind spending a bit more, then CycloDS.

PS. ttds firmware can be run in SCDS1.

Use? Homebrew for sure. Everythign else second.
Price Range? No Limit.
Slot 1/2? Slot 1 prefered.
Built in or expandable memory? Expandable, I already have a 2 gig micro SD.
Special features? I don't know what they would be.
Any flashcarts you are looking at in particular Cyclo DS
Other? Not that I know of...

For all slot-1's (ignore if you want a slot-2):
Support slot-2 GBA? It be nice but I can play GBA on my wii so its no concern.
Support slot-2 rumble packs? Dont care.
Support slot-2 RAM (web browser)? Dont care.

Cyclo should be right. But if you want something cheaper, there's the Acekard 2.

Again, look at the special features first. Only a few carts have features like game state dumps aka RTS, slow-motion, in-game menu, in-game text file display, homebrew soft-reset, multiple save files, Wii connectivity, etc. If any of those features are a must for you, that narrows the field down considerably (CycloDS, SCDS1, and Acekard RPG each have some but not all of those features).

Otherwise, get a cheaper cart like an Acekard 2 or maybe an M3 Sakura when it comes out in English.

BTW, the Acekard 2 will have slow-motion with the AKAIO menu coming out in the next few days.

I already made my choice on SCDS-One

but I just wanted to ask which flash carts has Pokemon Battle Revolution Wii Connectivity? (except CycloDS)

this is not gonna affect my decision, rather it will my brother's, since he's a pokemon maniac, and wants to be future proof for DS>Wii for Pokemon games.

I think only the CycloDS has this feature. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

G6 has the Wii-DS connectivity. However, it's out of production, can't be bought very easily, and shouldn't be bought.

I see, I'll recommend him to get a CycloDS then.

Thanks!

Use? ROMs and Homebrew.
Price Range? n/a
Slot 1/2? Slot 1.
Built in or expandable memory? Expandable, at least 2gig support.
Special features? I would like to play .AVI movies on it
Any flashcarts you are looking at in particular? too many to choose from!
Other?

For all slot-1's (ignore if you want a slot-2):
Support slot-2 GBA? I have no GBA carts.
Support slot-2 rumble packs? Not interested.
Support slot-2 RAM (web browser)? Would be nice to increase RAM.

Buy a Toptoy DS, or Acekard 2. They're under 25 dollars from DealExtreme, and they have worldwide free shipping (But their shippings take around 2 weeks.). DO NOT BUY A R4! It sucks, and it's 39 dollars. If your friends tell you to buy a R4, don't. It's inferior to other carts I've mentioned, and expensive.

They're the best bet if you just want to play games and homebrew. If you want abilities like Realtime save (Lets you save anywhere in the game), Slow-mo (Slows the gameplay down. Pretty useless, but interesting nonetheless.), look at the SCDS1 SDHC.

And puting AVI movies are barely supported by the DS. The DSs' hardware can't take very much. Although there is a AVI player,Tunavid? I think that was the name. Anyway, it's greatly lacking, and is full of bugs. Use moonshell instead.

Your best bet is to convert the AVI file to .DPG, and use it on Moonshell, which is a homebrew.
