then tell me what the save encrypted code if you have a modded save
I don't think you understand how the save game exploit works. You don't need to know the encrypted key. You only need it to cause a stack overflow, so that you can then run unsigned code to it.

to modified the save in ANY WAY you must decrypted mod it then re encrypted it and to dp that you need the key
Dude. I used a EEPROM data reader. And publicly available software to decrypt it as you say. Anyways I don't fricking need to know what the key is!!! The program did it for me. Then I was able to mod the save game.

EEPROM is used to store miniscule amounts of data in GBA, DS, and 3DS games, stuff like number of lives, completed levels, ranking on time attacks and times, etc. Stuff that takes up literally just a few bytes (typically). Flash is used for games that save lots of data (kilobytes to megabytes), these would be through a game that saves to flash an ideal overflow exploit would be executed. If you actually looked into overflows and how they worked, you would also know that games that use EEPROM to save typically can cope with values that don't work well (such as too many lives, 135/120 stars, etc) and know how to deal with those errors. Flash-based saves that have many kinds of variables, strings, and conditions (or even bits of code, a la Super Mario Advance 4 for the Gameboy Advance) are more likely to run unsigned code since it has the capacity to store the actual code.

The other thing is that if you are to use, say, New Super Mario Bros. 2 (which uses EEPROM to save) you would have to load the modified save, and hope that when the game loads you overflow at the perfect point where the game continues to read the save. Such knowledge would require 3DS emulation, extensive memory viewing, or ROM disassembly (which would likely have to be done by hand). Flash eliminates part of the lucky-keep-on-reading loophole you are unlikely to exploit, but even then you are pushing your luck with an overflow. Seeing as you aren't established in the hacking scene, you are trolling with talk of Wii emulation, and you can't back up your claims at all (have you ever disassembled a game, or tried modifying source code for a game?).

I'd say you are full of shit and need to find a better way to spend your time.

First of all, you don't know what I've done in the past. Second of all, your full of shit. Third of all, I'll wait until its in a releasable form to show you the proof of it.

I'd say you are full of sh** and need to find a better way to spend your time.
Ah come on, even if he's trolling he maybe just want to cheer up people who are waiting for Hack :D
I know he cheered me.. even if it turns out it's a fake. :grog:

But hey izzydeank, if you are trolling, ok, but just dont go to far please as i would start to believe its true :P
But if you're not, than i wish you luck ;)

Haha, this is interesting to read :ninja:

By the way, to update everyone here who doesn't know..

i know he did not hack it

And that ends it... xD
btw. Darn it. I forgot about this thread. lol. I could have had alittle more fun. :P Also the hack will be released sometime in the future. It just might not have my name associated with it and you might have to buy a flash cart from a shady site in china. Have a nice day peeps. :)

Stalker!!!

If someone purchased a dev kit, wouldn't they have the key? Or am I mistaken?
dev make games then they send them to nintendo to be encrypted for retail iirc

Dev kits don't have the key. Nintendo adds that later. Dev kits are a waste unless you just want them for collectibles.
they are not useless if you have the debugger to go with it

I knew where you found it dude. lol It doesn't change my stalker comment though, since you stalked my profile. And its still useless with a debugger. What you going to do with it?
you can make games and play them on a panda unit (and if its good send it to Nintendo to get published

you know devs dont spend bout load of money for a computer that does nothing
