Ok, first thing is that the statement above was made in the context of inhabitable planets, as people don't live in a planet like Mercury (not sustainable), it would seem that maybe one of the conditions for a sustainable planet or one that's inhabitable is the shorter day length, for a variety of reasons (weather, day&night cycles, seasons etc.)

On a separate note, i don't see what the reply on your pic has to do with the question that's asked?
