Vetusomaru this is going to sound weird, but I honestly started with my hands, my logic was if I wanted more muscle and strength I need to start with them. So far has been working great for years.

  • redfire12 @ redfire12:
that too.. not to mention the HUGE ampount of water used to process oat / rice "milk" too
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:

i find exercise wise is to just get up n do it straight away.... as in id be ten mins into a workout, thinking " i dont want to do this..." but by that time im halfway thru

  • redfire12 @ redfire12:

Rice wine and horchata is awesome <--- that's different
  • redfire12 @ redfire12:
agree Vetsuomara, lots find the exercise regime harder than a diet change
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
on a side note i used to know a chick that was skinny like a super model and yet she was eating more than the boys at our social circle
  • Vetusomaru @ Vetusomaru:
just like i knew a guy who was also eating like a pig and yet he was petite
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Sometimes eating often boosts the metabolism, but you still have to eat mostly good stuff not junk all day, also could be thyroid issues. I had a friend who could eat literally garbage all day long and was skinny as a rail. Turned out he had hyper thyroid issues and it's not a healthy thing.

I used to be like 350 pounds, now I am probably like 190, you gotta find what works for your body. Mine it turns out too many carbs, I have to have some carbs all day long but small amounts with lots of veggies and lots of protein. I eat constantly but I burn a lot of calories too.

Also when I was huge, I was doing phone work.... I switched to security with lots of walking. So your job can have an impact too.
  • redfire12 @ redfire12:
i kinda hover at around 87kg/ 190lb.. im defo a bit chunky, however, i can outwalk / outcycle my friends... so im not so bothered anout a slight stomach :)
