Homebrew Possible way to play Doom RPG on Nintendo DS

For some Doom fans, DSDoom isn't enough.
THEY NEED MOAR.

With Pstros NDS java emulator, is it possible to play Doom RPG on DS, with the touch screen being the number pad and possibly add some custom control schemes?


I'm just asking.

Now, to test it out!

Unless there is a mobile/java emulator or runtime, you can't.

EDIT: You need the JAR and JAD files on your MSD. Make a JAD with this:

I'm able to run the game after doing that, but it's really slow. Also, there's no sound.

Now, somehow Doom RPG works but what about the keypad?

it's kinda messed up because that 4862 are used as the direction buttons and the other as A,B,X,Y so it means the phone "keyboard" is split up in 2 parts so you will have to find by yourself the meaning of each button

LOL, got this to work on PSP, but its in 'book mode'.

Probably best off playing Orcs and Elves. Similar styled gameplay, just not Doom-themed. Pretty sure Orcs and Elves, Doom RPG, and Wolfenstein RPG are in the same crop.

Orcs and Elves

Pretty fun turn based first person dungeon crawler. Same engine as Doom RPG, just high fantasy stuff instead of the Doom universe (and of course differences in gameplay like Magic and potions and crap like that). Fun game if you're a fan of those types of games.
