Hacking [Possible Porting Of Retroarch]

Played through the entirety of Shenmue 1 on a FireTV2 which has about 70% of (throttled) Tegra X1 performance (= Switch Equivalent), and thats without Vulkan. :) In "true" 16:9 mode.

(Only issue was a flicker on the main Characters eyelids in some sequences. Wasnt even that distracting...)

So yes - great times ahead. :)

Also N64 games, with 16:9 full screen hacks (can be implemented in the form of "cheat codes") and 720p+ internal resolution. :)

Also, 720p/1080p PSP games will be possible.

I know PS1 games will be possible, but what about PS2? does the switch have enough hardware power for that?

Short: No.

Long: It would only be possible on the long run if someone made an efficient PS2 emu on ARM, which doesn't exist yet. But even if one was made, a lot of games probably wouldn't perform well.
