So i'm not sure if my Godmode9 is not working because i havent seen anyone with the same problem, my question is how long does Godmode9 take to boot, ive left it for about 5 mins and it hasn't booted, is it not working or does it really take a while to boot? I am trying to Uninstall everything because i don't like the idea of my 3ds being bricked without the hacked SD card.

Hello.:)

Which Version of GodMode9 have you installed ?
With v1.8.0 there is a known Issue (happens when a single Payload is used) and a Solution:

https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/issues/466

and a Solution for this Version:

from @KleinesSinchen:

There is a problem with the latest GodMode9 on some consoles with the Luma chainloader. Lengthy discussion on Github:
https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/issues/466

As @Dani Dandelion already said, simply adding a second payload may help (if there is more than one payload, holding (START) will open the chainloader selection menu). Best rename the files in a way so that you can easily distinguish one file from the other. Like so:

SD:/luma/payloads/godmode1.7.1.firm
SD:/luma/payloads/godmode1.8.0.firm

Another solution is switching to fastboot3DS but this is slightly more complicated/more work. I personally would not (yet) recommend this for beginners although the latest OpenFirmInstaller somewhat simplifies the setup process:

https://github.com/derrekr/fastboot3DS
https://github.com/d0k3/OpenFirmInstaller

Thank you.:)

To avoid the requirement of the SD card to be inserted onto the 3DS you should install Luma3DS to the NAND.
What version of Luma3DS do you have?

im using version 9.1.7
Update to Luma3DS v10.0.1. Newer versions of payloads (Godmode9 v1.7.1 is from august from 2018 and Luma3DS v9.1 is from july 2018) sometimes don't work with older versions of the CFW.
I dunno if updating will resolve the problem, but it's a good first step.

Also, to turn on the console without the SD, follow this part of the CFW Guide.
