Alright so im just making a basic suggestion here and I'm probably going to get irrational hostile comments after this, could maybe an Art Academy Home Studio exploit be possible? It does load drawing files from the sd card so could one of those files be modified to run a code that could launch homebrew? I have no development experience so this suggestion could sound retarded but like I said it's a suggestion.

EDIT: Forgot about this part sorry, this is for the latest firmware version 5.5.2

EDIT: Also if this has been tried before tell me and I'll remove the post

Wait, isn't it possible to inject files via vWii? Or wait.... is that another volume inside the WiiU? Either Way, its worth a try (unless it is another volume, right?).

SLCMPT (vWii) is a completely separate chip to the SLC (Wii U) and the MLC (storage)
Apologies if the chip names are slightly off, I am tired :3

Ability to load a picture or an external file doesn't always mean there's an entry point or a vulnerability which can be exploited.
the game first need a vulnerability in the way it mounts the device, find the file list, the loaded file, read it, decoded it, display it etc.
if the game developers made their job correctly then there's nothing to exploit (no vulnerability).

remember that you don't find exploit, you find vulnerabilities which could be exploited (or not, a crash is not a working exploit).

It doesn't mean there's no way it can be used as entry point, as of course it would need someone to try and check how the game is reading the external file, but it's just not always a valid entry point.
you will rarely find a vulnerability by searching one, you usually look at how things work and "notice" the developers made a mistake somewhere in the way they coded it, how they manage memory, etc.
you don't "search" for memory issues in games explicitly, as you don't even know what you are looking for. it could be anything.
