Just to make sure: if this will make it possible to downgrade, you still need a homebrew entry point to access it, right? So on 10.6 you still need OoT or Cubic Ninja because browser hax was fixed in 10.6 right?

pretty much, yes -ninja'd :ninja:

Okay, thanks. I suspect a hella lot of threads of people asking how to use this on 10.6 while they have no homebrew entry point because they don't have OoT or CN.

When I first saw this thread there was no response. I don't have a 3DS for last couple days so I couldn't test and almost forgot about this thread. Lo and behold on 27 pages since. How did I miss all the drama?!:O

Crazy to think there is a known (not publicly released) downgrading possibility so soon. And all this occurred on Monday instead of annual more stability from Nintendo. I love this irony.

Don't worry, we'll get it Soon™ enough :P Also, the tester doesn't seem to want to work on 10.6 sysNAND with AuReiNAND on a9lh.

Damn. Will the downgrading app has 100% stability unless its the User's fuck-ups?
There won't be enough stability on Nintendo console. There would be always more stability coming.

At least OOT is getting cheap here in NA. $19.99 before tax at Best Buy. Hopefully Nintendo doesn't nick some nasty stuff in this new reprint.

I was waiting for this. I updated my SysNand by mistake and I didn't want to hardmod it even if I have a suitable backup
and the required soldering skills.

You forget your console loses the warranty if you open it, and my N3DS has 18 months left. ;)

This time I'm going for A9LH.

Thank you for the repository, i'll probably start working later on an adaptation to libkhax PID patching process.
Does the implementation to get service access in libkhax need to be changed to take advantage of this? Or is it just a matter of rewriting it "nicely" (not really needed but useful) and finding the right memory addresses for different firms?

you should be able to use the service access implementation in libkhax directly without any modifications, svchax is intended to only grant access to svc's.
