I like how this thing isn't even in action yet and we have people testing unofficial downgrades and arguing about names.

Anyone lurking and hoping to downgrade, seriously come back in a few days.
 
Leave Hykem alone, seriously. You should be happy that he will release his exploit with all the tools needed to fully exploit it.

To Nintendo's credit, it did take a relatively long time before an exploit was discovered that could be properly implemented to run homebrew (and CFW etc.) - Ninjhax came out in November 2014, more than three and a half years after the 3DS' initial release. To put things in perspective, the first DS homebrew was released just 2 months after the console came out. Back in 2011, everyone was worried that Nintendo could remotely brick 3DS consoles if piracy and whatnot was detected, yet ironically when the 3DS did get properly hacked, most bricks have been caused by people themselves being careless when installing .cias.
