This could just be a prototype... have you seen pictures of the system before they come out the PS3 actually looks like one of those really old huge VCRs
Oh my days, it's not real AT ALL.

See!
Thats RMC's opinion. Its by no means a confirmation. Not that I think it's real but dont go around claiming fact when you have no evidence to support it.

Definitely fake,

-The comic books are too -perfectly squared
-The pages on the side of the books are obvious textures, they arent aligned with the book at all upon close inspection
-Objects dont clip into eachother
-A table glossy enough to have such a bright glarte like that would reflect the objects atop it
-The glare, which seems to be a bright light above the camera, is being totally cut off by shadows cast by the stuff on the table
-if nothing else the screen images are definitely shopped onto it

I have to say i agree with all that so i believe it is fake too. I will say someone put a hell of a lot of work into that though. Also if that was real could you imagine playing Metroid on that thing.

i believe its true. either way i want one of these. i wonder what games it plays?

most stuff on the nets is true. i have yet to see a false story.

Yeah, it's fake. If you look at the buttons they look way too glossy.
Gloss has nothing to do with being fake, this might be what were looking at in a 3ds. I mean when there was release photos of the ps3 slim before ots release i thought it was fake...

Hmm handheld looks delicious, can't wait to see the final release

Then take a look at the joystick:

Way overglossed and there's no 'depth'.
Also, look at the shadow of the handheld. It's too much.
That caught my attention just now, man I'm a klutz

just look really good at the display there is no way that a normal lcd can do that on a photo, ist a photoshop made picture also there is no light reflex on the display

Looked above it? The glare's cut out by the shadow.

Its funny how everyone is over analyzing the "glares" and "shadows" of these pictures. Well consider this:

Do you know how many light sources there were?
Is there a flash on the Camera?
Is there a window where the sun came in?
Was he/she standing over the product casting another shadow?
What types of shades, bulbs, style of light were used?

i.e. If you go to a basketball court, gym, football stadiums, take a look at your shadow... Its not the same ol' shadow you'll get from being out in the sun.. No not at all in fact there will be 4 shadows.

Oh and as far as "depth", well how much depth do you expect, from an analog "nub"! Note: The screen does have to slide over.

Did you read the whole topic ?

funny how people look at the oddness in shadows, reflections, shinyness etc. when the only proof you need is that on 1 of the foto's 2 books partially occupy the same space.
unless jump figured out how to print 5th-dimensional bendable books, it's a big blunder in a quite convincing 3D render.

Why yes, yes I did, and I ready word for word the whole other topic dedicated to this prototype/mock up what ever its going to be called.

I read and listen more than I speak, hence the low post count, your point?
