Why the hell would we want Chrome OS when we have Linux?TBH, with this screen size, I'd be happier for a Chrome OS port than an Android one.

Chrome OS is becoming an all-in-one OS. It can run Android apps and will soon be able to run Linux apps. I don't like using Android with screens this big, because it's designed for smaller screens and is just a waste of space. Chrome OS has proper windows that help make use of space. Why the hell would we want Chrome OS when we have Linux?
We're only seeking for Android app support. ARC Welder and Anbox are not really that nice and have massive problems with apps that require Google Play services.

Yeah! Thats how it is called now! DO IT!SwitchDroid

I have an Android tablet and I wish it ran Chrome OS. Android is compatible with tablets (somewhat optimised for them, too), but it still shows how it's mainly for phones.Well .. Tablets are bigger .. And Android is made for them, too...

What? They planned that for years now and honestly I don't think they'll ever make it happen. As I said they are using ARC-Welder which is nothing but a Chrome extension (and can be used on Windows/Linux as well by the way) and it sucks. It only works with a few apps. There's almost zero progress in the last few months. Do you really think it will get any better than this?Chrome OS is becoming an all-in-one OS. It can run Android apps
W00t? What exactly do you mean? That sounds as if Android apps are only using a small area in the center of a tablet display with a big black bezel around it.I don't like using Android with screens this big, because it's designed for smaller screens and is just a waste of space.
Gta san andreasBut why android when any linux distro is clearly superior?

Android isn't designed for smaller screens, once Androids DPI is high enough all apps that support it can switch between a Phone, Phablet, and a full Tablet UI mode where things are sorted and layed out differently.Chrome OS is becoming an all-in-one OS. No shit Sherlock. But even in tablet mode, you can't go as space efficient as with actual windows.Android isn't designed for smaller screens, once Androids DPI is high enough all apps that support it can switch between a Phone, Phablet, and a full Tablet UI mode where things are sorted and layed out differently.

lmao then say that instead of saying its outright not designed for it. with multiwindow support and picture-in-picture with android 8 it's getting closer to being better at using spaceNo shit Sherlock. But even in tablet mode, you can't go as space efficient as with actual windows.

Android tablets have failed in the market
