She's basically a "SPOILER turret" saying lines from dialogues in the game later on. Carrying on, I only thought the Caroline bit was a spoiler, then everything it said made sense once I progressed further.

But the real question is: did you really save it from redemption or did you just put it out of its misery (emancipation grill)?

you cant remove it from that area, you can save it from the turret redemption line and place it on walkway below

Actually, I really saved it. I didn't put it through the emancipation grill.
