Hardware Popular hard drive enclosure

I wanted to buy my hard drive for my wii since my old one broke. at the usb compatibility list it kind of hard to find them. Anyone who which one is the best one for enclosure hard? I was researching on the internet and someone told that that some of the usb 3.0 hard drive works.

I have (2) USB drives that works on Wii. All it is: Generic USB case and a basic Hard Drive.

I have tried using a new 1.5 TB external drive from Best Buy with games not working right/system crashes.

The USB 2 enclosures work great! USB 3 enclosures seems to get some lag (Sonic Colors).

This is just from my experience. Others can give you actual tech facts

Been a year now and still going.

Bought one of these a few years ago and I had connection problems between the cable and the unit. Tried a couple different cables too. Worked great when it worked though.
