Homebrew Poor framerates in NO$GBA

Hey guys,
I've been a long time user of emulators but have just started emulating the DS. I downloaded NO$GBA and the firmware/bios and everythings working okay, except the framerate is not super fast. Any suggestions on how to maybe increase it a bit?

Get version 2.6a (not just 2.6) which has increased speed for 3D in particular. Otherwise, there isn't much you can do to get better speeds other than getting a more powerful computer. You can try messing with the playback speed in the options (Unlimited MHz-disaster 10% is the fastest possible mode) but then you won't get consistent speed.
