I do take mine to school (it's the holidays just now, but I know what you mean) but just to play on the bus to and from school.

I took it once for steps and streetpass(I didn't get one) but not taking it again as I'm worried if it will get stolen somehow.

xD I take it to school in hopes of getting streetpass which oddly I rarely get even though I live in NYC and take one of the most crowded trains 5 days a week... I wish they would however remove the 10 coins a day restriction |: Its annoying cause I take atleast 5k steps a day.

NO, and I explain why.

I don't go to school anymore. But I can tell you that I work as a manager in a grocery store and I bring my Nintendo3DS with me. I pick up streetpass once in a while. I also bring it when I go shopping, go to the hospital and etc,...

Used to take mine to work for the steps, but don't bother anymore as the coins are hardly worth the effort, plus i'm not really meant to have it at work anyway (no electronic devices/phones/cameras etc.)

Use cheats to get more coins. Set you date forward and back by 1 day. Every 10 coins you get you will need to repeat the date step.

Ya i own a psp too, but its a HUGE army on my school so it will be useless to take it there.

Wouldn't take my 3DS to school, since it's a vocational collage. On this school the chances are good, that no one besides me even owns a 3DS, thus taking it to school would be pointless.
Plus I take three to four walks a day with my dog, where I can make enough steps to collect the coins.

I take my 3DS to school some days hoping to get street passes so far 0 there are about 6 in my school who I know
that have a 3DS but 5 of them are 11 graders so I'm afraid that they beat me up and steal it
