From what I observed and tested, Cyclo has the best 0-day compatibility.

For the second question, some may think that it's overpriced. I don't think so. You have plenty of features, great compatibility, good build quality (no sticking dubious stuff in your DS along with the cart only to have the contacts work) plus the upcoming UI.

And keep in mind that one could argue that Acekard wouldn't be worth its price either if it wasn't for AKAIO. Hell, I think that because of AKAIO it should be more expensive, but without it it wouldn't be worth it.

My Acekard 2i works fine in my DSi XL without sticking anything else in the game slot. AKAIO is a great firmware package. Unless you really want the real-time save and slowdown, I'd go with the Acekard 2i.

CycloDS is only the price of about 1 (good) or 2 (not so good) DS games anyway. So many people might complain about the price, but they really don't need to.

They're the price of a DS game. Hardly overpriced. They probably didn't want to release a DSi cart without having DSi mode. Plus, as I recall, they were the only team that managed to get an Evo working on a DSi.

As part of R&D of course.

IMO the price of a flashcart doesnt really matter for me, since you can get pretty much all the games you want with them.

Heck, I even paid over 100 bucks for my first flashcart.

Back on topic, The Cyclo got more functions etc, but why pay more for something you're probally not gonna use?

Okay, Here's my take on the whole thing.

Acekard is better only because of AKAIO. I don't need RTS, or in game guide, or any of that BS.

The cyclo is STILL close to $50. I have seen almost every flash crt go down in price over the years EXCEPT for the cyclo, and at this point, there is no reason for it.

Back in the day, the Cyclo outclassed every flash cart available in terms of features and compatibility, and then it was worth the $50. The M3 Real/Zero does damn near everything that the Cyclo does, works on the DSi, and costs half as much.

That being said, Price point doesnt matter much to me, but you still have to be competitive, and right now Cyclo just isn't competitive with other flash carts way below the Cyclo's price point.

Exactly. I paid about 75 dollars for my first flashcart.

The Cyclo is worth your money if you want the extra features, etc., but if all you want to do is play games without added features, the Acekard can do just that.
