ROM Hack Poksav can't read symbol

my name have some symbol
after i use poksav
it show my name is ???

how can i recover my name

i have a very early save
anyone know the hex address that the name localed?
Is it possible of copy that name in old save and then paste to my new save?

i have try to use hex camparison software to find out the different after the name change
but after i correct it nds say the save is corrupted, previous save file will be loaded

how can i solve this problem

You need to have "east asian languages" installed on your computer (windows xp cd has it) to be able to view everything properly in pokesav. As it was originally a japanese program, and has been translated to english by GSD (Geisn) and help from myself

i use english version pokesav
and use Microsoft AppLocale to show japanese word
but it still cannot read the symbol,like~,but it can read??which didn't provide in the game
why?
