Where I live everything is pretty mixed. We've got a some folk from Aberdeen, a lot of folk from England. Its a big mixing pot cause its a commuter town known for being a good place to live. My accent has been skewed because of this. Left to my own devices I probably have developed a South Lanarkshire accent like my parents

Quick question. Did anybody ever make a Homebrew capable of writing saves to a retail version of HG/SS I remember there was an extra device that could but can't remember if the savedumper ever got updated.
Just wondering because if I can write to a cart without an extra USB thing I might buy White legitimately. I;m sure PokeSav or something will soon be able to change regions.

Edit: Can't get it past the damned "title screen". I press B and nothing happens. Must not like my flashcart or something to do with its wifi backup it doesn't like (my slot2 card is dead) Apparently doesn't like Supercards

This is good as I'm not.

Anyhoo. Pokemon White. I have 3 options.
1. Pirate completely.
2. Purchase and start new game
3. Purchase AND buy an NDS Adapter Plus for dumping and restoring my JAP save file.

Bear in mind I am only on the 3rd Gym at this point. I can't for the life of me get that dumper to work in FTP mode (as soon as I press B the thing crashes and doesn't attempt to load WiFi in either an R4 clone or my SCDSOne)

Psshhh...ONLY 60 hours in LeafGreen? I wasted over 300 in Diamond, and around 250 in Crystal.

Pokemon really hasn't changed that much. If anything, it's changed for the better though. Most naysayers seem to be nostalgia goggle whores. 2nd Gen was a great gen, and it's arguably the best one, but that doesn't mean the later ones weren't good. Pokemon games always had a cheesy storyline/plot.

As for the new Pokemon, I think most of them are pretty awesome. However, some like the ice cream cone one, or the pile of garbage one are kind of stupid. I wonder if the ice cream one is able to be found in the wild or not. If so, that's kind of awkward...

Actually it's about 120hours. Still pretty decent for getting all but 13 Pokemon.
