Hacking Pokemon Y save doesn't work

When i was going to unlink my nands and go to emunand a backed up my pokemon Y save via the save manager in homebrew, in emunand i reinstalled pokemon Y with the same cia and tried putting the save back vi savefiler and also via the save editor of homebrew via emunand. Both didn't work and i get the message that the save is from another version.
Any help?
