What purpose do natures serve in Pokémon X and Y? I know that in previous gen you would want to breed for a nature that would benefit a certain stat growth over the others while you battled.

However, with super training you can use reset bags to fully clear points and basically manually input the stats to your liking.

So what purpose is there to natures now?

Is it correct that both adamant and docile Blaziken can achieve the same stat distribution as long as you use super training?

Also it makes breeding less interesting if this is the case.

Is there a place where I could find more in-depth information about breeding, super training and natures regarding X and Y?

Cheers! =)

Super training is EV training. It doesnt affect normal stat growth to my knowledge, therefore natures still work the same as they always have.

Edit: can we stop with all the new X/Y threads? Just use the general discussion thread...

10% up a stat and 10% down a stat dpeending on the nature, some of them are neutral. Google guides for iv/evs if your looking to play competitvlty.
