When I saved my game, it crashed at the same time causing my save to not load although the game says my file still exists and I can still edit it on Pokesav.

FIXED: Changing my location on Pokesav to a Pokemon Centre sorted the loading problem out.
I think it was a glitched location issue 'cos of it crashing when I saved it.

Did this occur after you edited your save with Pokesav?

    No.
I only opened my save with Pokesav to make sure all the data is still there.

Download the ROM again, believe me it usually fixes all sorts of problems.

    I've fixed the problem.
I edited my location on Pokesav to a Pokemon Centre, it seems my problem was an issue loading the location and now it's all fine again.
